GIE Annual Conference 2014

On behalf of Jean-Claude Depail, President of GIE, we thank you very much for participating to the GIE Annual Conference in Berlin on 12 and 13 June !

We hope you enjoyed the keynote addresses, the presentations and the panel discussions. Commissioner Oettinger and many speakers delivered important messages on recent and future developments relevant for the gas and gas infrastructure industry.

Together with the Hosting Companies - E.ON Gas Storage, ONTRAS Gastransport, Open Grid Europe, RWE Gasspeicher and Storengy Deutschland -, we hope you enjoyed the wonderful Gala Dinner at the U3-Tunnel. Maybe you used this opportunity to discover Berlin, too.

All conference material – agenda, presentations, video of the Closing Speech of Jean-Claude Depail, speaker biographies, pictures, polling results – is available on the conference programme pages.

A graphic summary of the conference is available here.

During the conference, a lot of tweets were made by us and by delegates using the hashtag #GIEBerlin2014.

As announced by Jean-Claude Depail, next year’s GIE Annual Conference will take place in Dublin on 23-24 April 2015, kindly hosted by Gaslink, Ireland’s independent gas transmission and distribution system operator. Gaslink and GIE are looking forward to welcome you in Dublin, in April 2015 !
