GLE - together with the Directorate-General Energy and Transport (DG TREN) of the European Commission has organised its LNG workshop dedicated to the joint stakeholder discussion on the “LNG discussion paper by DG TREN” on 13 March 2009 in Bilbao, Spain.

Presented materials are now available from this website.

As announced at the XV Madrid Forum, GLE had decided to bring together various stakeholders in order to exchange and discuss jointly with the European Commission the proposals relating to the LNG market in Europe as specified in the mentioned DG TREN’s LNG discussion paper.

The workshop itself was made up of 4 sessions, each covering relevant points from the DG TREN LNG discussion paper.
