A Gala Dinner evening event organised by the Romanian host TRANSGAZ will be organised at the Snagov Palace on Thursday 14 June.
Snagov Palace is a former royal palace on the shore of Lake Snagov, 40 km from Bucharest. It was built in the 1930's by Prince Nicholas and extended in the 80's by the Ceaucescu family. The palace is now used for events by important institutions such as the Presidency, the Parliament or Romanian Government.
The palace has a formal garden with fountains, which was designed by the Austrian landscape architect Rebhun. In the garden there are several buildings, such as a former guesthouse in Romanian Arts and Crafts-style, built in the beginning of the 20th century.
