GLE launches online European List of Services 2017

Today, 9 June 2017, GLE launches online the European List of Services for 2017 thanks to all LNG terminal operators in the EU who accepted the invitation of GIE to participate in this initiative.

GLE aims to find market-based solutions in order to best meet the interests of the network users and strives to provide input and expertise on LNG infrastructure to the European institutions, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders. As part of GLE mission, the newly launched GLE European List of Services provides comprehensive information and definitions about:

  • Basic services : Unloading, operational storage, regasification and send-out;
  • Other services relating to
    • Quality: Wobbe Index/GCV Correction, odorisation,
    • Flexibility: additional storage, additional send-out, capacity pooling,
    • Cargo management: LNG inventory transfer, reloading (large scale ship), transshipment berth to berth, transshipment ship to ship,
    • Small scale: reloading (small scale ship), truck loading, rail loading,
    • Ship operation: cooling down, gassing up, nitrogen inerting, allowing oil bunkering at berth;
  • Secondary Market : regasification capacity, storage capacity, berthing/unloading rights, combination of berthing, storage and regasification.
